Let us explain how things work. There are no more State Champions, Tri-State, Inter-State or Regional Championships. Just your straight forward U. S. National Muay Thai Champions. Its that simple...
We've all got to start somewhere, and the beginning is usually the best place, therefore the new 1999 Muay Thai season for the United States begins with the elimination tournaments leading up to the United States National Championships. But before you even think about wearing one of these, you've got to register with the Association as a contending U.S. fighter.
The USMTA is in the process of creating the best American Muay Thai Champions. We will then get them Ranked, Rated and Internationally recognized in as many countries and nations as possible. At the same time, publishing and promoting the American National Champions in as many U. S. and international publications.
