NOTICE FOR ALL
Please take note that the last 3
promotional events by Lions Roar, have not been sanctioned by the USMTA
including last event Jan16th 2016.
The reason the events are not sanctioned is
because the promoter, who has been asked numerous times, to comply with the
regulations on fighter safety issues and event procedures. The promoter was
informed last year that blood work papers will be necessary from Jan 16th
2016. This information was sent by mail and is posted on the website and on
As is normal with USMTA events a 14 day
period is requested so that the association can verify safety issues for
fighters who plan to compete. This is for the safety of the fighter and the
protection of the promoter.
In all last 3 events of Lions Roar, the
promoter has refused to send in the required papers, and to this date we
have not received a copy of any fighters blood work, fighter insurance,
venue insurance, or even a copy of the fight sheet for the event on time.
These are some of the reasons, among many, that the association has declined
to give sanction, and will continue to do so, until the promoter is prepared
to follow the guidelines that every other promoter acknowledges.
The promoter has been informed numerous
times that the association expects the promoter to acknowledge the safety of
all registered fighters within the USMTA is paramount. The promoter has not
received a sanction certificate for the last 3 events.
As of right now, the USMTA will no longer
sanction Lions Roar event.
